ACS RPL Skill Requirement Met Date


The Skill Requirement Met Date will be noted on your ACS result letter and will be dictated by the result of the appointment criteria. All the relevant work experience finished after the Skill level requirement met date will be considered skill employment and qualified for points under the skilled migration points test. The work experience required to achieve the suitability criteria is excluded as skilled employment and isn’t adequate for positions under the skilled migration points test.
The ACS assessment will try to locate the earliest skill level requirement met date feasible for every evaluation types.
  1. Employment concluded after the qualification
  2. You complete a relevant Bachelor’s degree with a major in ICT on 31st Jan 2014, and you have four years of relevant work experience from 1st Feb 2014 until 31st Jan 2018.
  3. Two years of work experience will be utilized to fulfil the suitability criteria, and your skill level requirement met date will be Jan 2016.
  4. All reasonable work experience concluded after 31st Jan 2016 will be viewed as Skilled employment and qualified for the skilled migration points test
  5. The two years of relevant work experience used to fulfil the suitability criteria are not adequate for the skilled migration points test but is evaluated to meet the suitability criteria.
Employment concluded before the qualification.
  1. You complete two years of relevant work from 31st Jan 2008 until 31st Jan 2010
  2. Additional two years of relevant work experience from 31st Jan 2011 until 31st Jan 2013.
  3. You complete a three year relevant Bachelor certificate on 31st Jan 2016.
  4. You complete a final two years of significant work experience from 31st Jan 2017 until 31st Jan 2019.
  5. The skill level requirement met date will be 31st Jan 2016 because this is the date both the relevant work experience and relevant qualifications are completed.
  6. Only the relevant work experience concluded after 31st Jan 2016 is considered as “Skilled Employment” and qualified for migration points test
  7. All work experience completed before 31st Jan 2016 is not adequate for the migration points test.
The Skill Level Requirement Met Date is subjected to the completion of both the applicable qualification and relevant work experience. If your work experience is concluded before the culmination date of your qualification, the Skill Level Requirement Met Date will be dictated by the earliest date that both the relevant work experience ad qualification is completed.
 While the ACS is authorized to evaluate ICT skills assessment, the final decision in granting points stays with the Department of Home Affairs.

ACS result letter – Clarifying letter meaning

After the completion of your ACS skill assessment, the result letters are issued via email. The result letter can be submitted as evidence to the Department of Home Affairs.
Section 1: States the suitability result under the ANZSCO code picked by the candidates
“Your skills have been assessed to be suitable for migration under ANZSCO code 261313 (Software Engineer).”
Section 2: Will only report on suitable ICT capabilities and its AQF likeness and the ICT content. Qualifications evaluated as “Inadequate in ICT Content,” “Not Recognized,” or “Not ICT” won’t be accounted for in a suitable ACS result letter.
“Your bachelor of science in computer science from university ABC completed on Jan 2010 has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing.”
 Section 3: The outcome of the letter will show the “Skill level Requirement Met Date,” which is determined by the ACS Suitability Criteria. All the relevant work experience completed after the skill level requirement met date will be considered as “skilled employment” and qualified for points under the skilled migration points test.
The work experience required to meet the suitability criteria is excluded as “Skilled Employment“ and is not qualified for points under the skilled migration points test. The ACS evaluation procedure will try to locate the earliest “Skill level Requirement met date feasible for every evaluation.”
“The following employment after 11th September 2017 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to ANZSCO code 261313 (Software Engineer).”
Section 4: All the work experience surveyed at an ICT proficient level and firmly identified with the assigned ANZSCO code will be shown here. Employment dates must be determined until the date of submission. ACS reports Country of employment as either “Australia” or “outside of Australia.” Work experience evaluated as unsatisfactory will be shown here with the reason why it was not acknowledged.

Scenarios for unacceptable work experience

  1. Concurrent Employment
If the candidates perform one employment period simultaneously as another employment episode, then only one event of employment can be acknowledged at any one time.
  1. Not Closely Related to the Nominated ANZSCO
In light of the data given in the documentation, the duties listed have been surveyed as not being firmly identified with the designated occupation.
  1. Not Assessable due to Insufficient Documentation
The documentation provided doesn’t meet the necessities according to the Skills Assessment Guidelines or isn’t adequate to meet the assessment criteria.
  1. Not Assessable due to Insufficient Detail
The documentation provided does not contain appropriate information for us to make an assessment.
